Warehouses With Ammunition For Ukraine Again Burning In Bulgaria
On the night of June 25, a series of explosions thundered in ammunition depots in Bulgaria. The facility belonged to the notorious Bulgarian arms dealer Emilian Gebrev who declared that he had been supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014.
According to the local reports, large fire again caught the warehouses in Karnobat. The fire was preceded by large explosions. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, but the facility completely burned down.
The cause of the incident has not yet been clarified. The State Agency for National Security is investigating the case.
“This accident is absolutely inexplicable and strange,” Emilian Gebrev commented on the incident.
This is the second fire in a year at this warehouse, which Gebrev owns. The first fire was reported in July 2022. LINK Then Gebrev announced the possibility of deliberate detonation or arson. The businessman himself blamed the employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Russia for the incident. Despite the fact that numerous violations of the rules of ammunition storage were detected at the enterprises owned by Emilian Gebrev.
