The Ukrainian military resumed attacks along the front lines in the Zaporozhie region. After a brief pause, the AFU regrouped and launched a new offensive in the Orekhov area, attacking Russian positions in Rabodino.

The day before, in the northeast of Rabodino, assault detachments of the 47th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which included about 25 servicemen, with the support of several Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, wedged 500 meters into the depth of the defense of the 71st motorized rifle regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian forces attempt to transfer reserves in order to gain a foothold and take control of the road to Verbovoye. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are trying to attack in the area launching constant assaults by small groups on Rabotino.

According to reports from the front, Russian forces managed to repel the second wave of the Ukrainian attacks in the area by noon on July 10. However, the AFU do not stop, throwing infantry almost without any armored vehicles.

In total, 7 M2 Bradley vehicles, 1 Leopard 2A6 tank and 1 Leopard 2R were reportedly involved. Judging by the footage from the frontlines, the Leopard 2A6 minesweeper was destroyed by artillery fire. 5 M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles were blown up on mines. To the west, the Ukrainian command was reportedly withdrawing personnel from the village of Pyatikhatki, likely for their rotation. The village remains in the gray zone, while the AFU are trying to gain a foothold between Pyatikhatki and Zherebyanki.

In recent days, the offensive actions of the Ukrainian forces have reportedly decreased, and there have been no large-scale attacks. Small groups of Ukrainian infantry continue operations without the support of heavy equipment.

On the night of July 10, the special group of the AFU attempted another attack on Zherebyanki. As a result, up to 10 out of 30 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded or killed, the rest retreated. During the day, the attempts continued and two groups of the 128th brigade of the AFU tried to enter the village. According to reports, so far, at least 14 Ukrainian servicemen were killed by artillery and the attack failed.

The Ukrainian military does not stop regrouping forces and conducts combat reconnaissance operations, preparing for the large-scale offensive in the area.

In the Velikaya Novoselovka region, the AFU have managed to advance towards Priyutnoe from the Levadnoye – Novodarovka line, trying to gain a foothold several kilometers from the village borders. Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to repel Ukrainian attacks in the area of Ravnopol. In their turn, Russian fores counterattacked from their positions in Urozhainoe towards Blagodatnoye, but failed to achieve any gains.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia also reported that a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was defeated in the area of Priyutnoe, while manpower and equipment of the 106th Brigade of Territorial Defense of Ukraine was shelled near the settlement of Lugovskoye in the Zaporozhye region.

“The enemy’s losses in these areas amounted to up to 150 Ukrainian servicemen, five armored combat vehicles, two cars, as well as two D-20 howitzers,” the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Judging by the information from the front, the Ukrainian military has long abandoned attempts to advance through the villages south of Velikaya Novoselka and continue attacks on the flanks in the hope of cutting off the Russian grouping and approaching Staromlinovka. So far, the Ukrainian losses significantly exceed their gains on the battlefield.

Military sources from the Russian side note that in some areas of the southern frontlines, Polish PT-91 Twardy tanks were spotted in the battles, which once again indicates that reserve forces of the AFU are already used in attacks. The Ukrainian military are suffering the heaviest losses and are forced to support the offensive by forces that were initially planed to enter the battles after the destruction of the first line of Russian defense, which they have not reached so far.
